Quick Look at New Intel Processor

Year 2010 was a huge success year for Intel’s New Core processor range codenamed “Sandy Bridge” and commonly known as i series processors. With the beginning of year 2011 they announced second series of popular i processor or “Sandy bridge” processor. This will maintain lead of Intel in market of computer processors.

They have announced a total of 30 new processor among which 15 will be Mobile use and 15 are for desktop usage. Among all these maximum number of Mobile processor are 10 i7 Mobile processor out of which is 1 new i7 extreme processor. Clearly they are concentrating on more processing power for mobile devices. which is now in more demand as more and more people preferring for laptops and tablets over Desktops. Future is for Wireless devices, 3d and mobile platforms including web then sitting with old desktop at home.

How To Manually Remove Hard Drives

Hard drives can be removed manually by carefully following the instruction manual provided by hard drive manufacturers. A hard drive is removed when it needs to be repaired or replaced. Its important to follow instructions as rough handling can damage the equipment and nullify its warranty.

The only tools required for this procedure are a couple of screwdrivers. The first step involves shutting down the computer and switching off power supply. This is done to avoid damage to the internal components of a computer. After this, all the external cords and covers are removed and left as it is for 5 to 10 minutes to allow components to cool down.

A human body generates static electricity, which should be discharged before touching any component of the computer. Touching any metal object discharges static electricity from the body. First, the air deflector is removed and kept on a clean cloth. Then the drive data cable and power cable is disconnected from the hard drive and the drive is pulled out from the drive bay. It is important not to touch the bottom of the drive as the printed circuit board (PCB) may get damaged.

Samsung SSD Magician – For Better Performance

These days everyone is talking about SSD or Solid state drives. SSD is much faster than Platter Hard Disk, silent and much more efficient. On The same time they complicated to maintain as well. Not All OS support the TRIM or Garbage Collection which is basically responsible for optimum usage of speed and Performance they have. BluRay – How It Stores So Much Data

Well, these day we commonly hear about Blu Ray disc and some of US use it too. Some of us even know what it is ? and How much capability is has. But very few of us know details about it. This article will tell you everything about Blu Ray in detail.

Blu Ray Technology was developed and released by Sony at the time when HD DVD was well known to people and movie viewer has started buying High Definition Video Disc and player a lot.  A lot of movies were released in HD DVD format and viewer Buy them a lot as they already have a HD DVD player at home. Just when HD DVD was going to have Monopoly in High Definition User experience Sony announce launch of Blu Ray format.

During Launch Sony claimed that Blu Ray disc have much higher capacity and better Data transfer rate than any other format available in market. They also claimed that this will rule the world of HD and Data capacity in a disc for a long time. Blu Ray disc can store 5-10 times data in a single Disc of same size as DVD, but problem is Sony make it in such a way that it will require a proper Blu Ray Drive/Burner to use this format.

These disc can not be played in existing DVD Drive/ Player or HD players. Now Sony released several movies which were exclusively available in Blu ray format for High Definition format and can not be watched on existing HD DVD Players. This really helped Sony to increase their market share in High Definition video market.
